Kai Trump can count on numerous well-known cheerleaders as she starts her professional golf debut this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be related to Donald Trump, was granted a sponsor's invitation to play at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, owns numerous courses worldwide and regularly plays against Kai.

"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we have tight competitions," she mentioned.

The golfer shared that Trump, unable to come, advised her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"He basically told me to play and have fun," she added.

"From my perspective, he's just an ordinary family member. He can't make it for the tournament. He's occupied with running the country, making him somewhat preoccupied."

While still amateur, Kai has participated in just three tournaments recently and maintains position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

But she can receive tips from Tiger Woods, who is dating her mother.

"He represents the best player in the world," Kai expressed.

"And he's an even better person. He suggested me to compete, relax, and go with the flow."

The golfer will compete against some of the biggest names in professional golf at the competition, featuring world number two the champion, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

Tournament organizers stated that Kai's presence helps introduce golf to new audiences, specifically with younger fans.

The social media influencer has a massive following and recently launched her own apparel and wellness label.

The competition starts at 5:30 PM GMT.
